Nowadays, our social activities are restricted due to Covid-19, but we can still use social media to come together and use photos to share our life with our loved ones. We are sure that there has been an increase in the number of pictures you have recently uploaded to social media: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter streams now contain many more photos. But, do you know how to take the most beautiful pictures with your Welder watch in the lead role? We have prepared this guide to help you: Below you can find everything you need to know to take great social media photos with your mobile phone.

Start With Cleaning Your Lens.

This may sound like a very simple trick, but it is one of the most overlooked topics. The camera lens of your mobile phones is on the back and can easily get dirty. Even putting the phone on the table for a short while can cause contamination on the lens. Even if you do not put it down, if your finger accidentally touches the lens, contamination will still occur. So, start by cleaning your camera lens: For this process, you can use the lens cleaning wipes that are sold almost everywhere.

Pay Attention to Lighting.

Your mobile phone will automatically apply the optimum ISO values based on the angle and brightness of the light, but there are still things you need to do manually. First of all, let's say that the photos taken in the time known as the “golden hour” will look much more beautiful. “Golden hour” is one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset, and it offers perfect natural lighting. Shoot as much as possible without flash during this period and take advantage of this light. Using a flash creates a dull image no matter how professional you are: Do not use it unless you are in a studio setting where you can fully control the light.

Try Different Angles.

Try to get a different image by shooting from different angles. When doing this, pay attention to symmetry and perspective too. Do you remember the first time that beach photographs showing people's feet became widespread? They were so popular because they used a very different perspective. Maybe it would not attract any attention if only the beach was photographed, but when “feet” were included in the picture, a very different perspective emerged and a trend started. Always look for angles, symmetries, and perspectives that will give your photos a different look.

Do Not Zoom.

No matter how many megapixels your camera has, do not zoom. Unless external telephoto lenses are used, even the most expensive and advanced mobile phones cannot zoom accurately. Even at the lowest zoom levels, the image will blur. You have no choice but to physically get closer to what you're photographing.

Use Gridlines.

Gridlines are included in the camera software of each mobile phone. These are lines that intersect the screen horizontally and vertically. A shooting technique called the “Rule of Thirds” can provide you with better quality photos. Simply align the things you want to attract attention in the photo to the point where the three lines meet. Especially beginners can take stunning photos with this technique.

Consider Using a Tripod.

Although most mobile phones have image stabilization, digitally corrected images will never have a natural look. Simple yet useful mobile phone tripods on the market can allow you to take photos that do not “flicker”. Moreover, most of these tripods feature remote shooting that lets you add yourself to the photo, so you don't have to stand behind the camera. Therefore, using a mobile phone tripod can be a very good idea.
